Terms of Employment:
Permanent full-time, 40.00 hours per week.

Salaries and wages:
$ 33.00 per hour

Duties/Responsibility:
• Work closely with the engineering team to develop mechanical and electrical drawings with 2-D CAD or 3-D CAD according to project specifications.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize and enhance product designs.
• Update existing product designs, such as Delpark Gravity Bed Filters.
• Make material cut lists and issue purchase orders.
• Assist in scheduling the shop process and project timelines.
• Create cost estimates, material requirements, project timelines, and detailed reports.
• Perform tests and analyses on machines, components, and materials to evaluate their performance, durability, stress tolerance, and other key properties.
• Oversee, manage, and inspect mechanical installation and construction projects to ensure adherence to designs and safety regulations.
• Establish standards, schedules, and supervise mechanical maintenance programs or operations within mechanical facilities.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Completion of a one- or two-year college program in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
2. Experience: At least 1 year experience in related field.

Other skills/conditions:
1. Proficiency with 3D and 2D modeling CAD software, AutoCAD
2. Prior experience in mechanical systems is an asset
3. Ability to liaise with clients
4. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and conflicting demands on time with a rapidly shifting work load
5. Strong time management skills
