Mechanical Designer Job

We are a Consulting Engineering firm seeking a Mechanical Designer with a minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in the design of Heating, Ventilating, and air Conditioning systems for educational, institutional, multi-family, and commercial facilities including layout, specification, calculations, equipment selections, LEED analysis and cost estimating. Candidate shall have a working knowledge of the architectural and engineering industry including client relations, shop drawing submittal review, and the construction process. Candidate shall be an excellent communicator (verbal and written) AutoCAD proficient, Revit experienced, and a self-starter that can work independently.

Our approach to Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical design is to find solutions using a simple and basic process. Our approach is based on the understanding, needs, capabilities and budget of the Owner and Maintenance Staff. This methodology is thoughtfully determined on an individual basis with regards to each project and owner. We are able to build relationships with each specific Client and truly understand their needs. Through our experience, we have determined that the “simpler” and “easier” a design concept is, the quicker it is to install. This significantly lowers first cost, ongoing maintenance operation and utility costs. System solutions that require less trouble shooting are more efficient and more cost effective for the Owner.
