Mechanical Design Engineer Job

E Pro Consultants Ltd is looking for 1 full-time and permanent Mechanical Design Engineer for locations Suite 222, 1779 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford, BC V2T 2X5.

Salary is 45.00/hr for 30-40 hours/week.
Overtime: 1 & half
Vacation Pay: 4%

Job Description: -

Assist in the design of building related mechanical systems including HVAC, Plumbing and FireProtection systems across Canada using applicable codes, standards, and reference materials.
Prepare contract drawings, schematics, schedules, details, and sketches from conceptual design through to construction.
Produce aspects of mechanical design and drawings in AutoCAD and REVIT MEP.
Generate energy models and help with the preparation of energy modelling reports and compliance documentation.
Facilitate and ensure the quality of the project deliverables. Adhere to Epro’s design standards in preparing drawings and specifications and following the design requirements established for each project.
Review shop drawings and other contractor submittals for compliance with construction documents. Perform field surveys for drawing developments, site reviews and as recorded drawings.
Communicate with other team members and become familiar to complete assignments and projects in a timely manner as required by the Project Manager, Discipline Lead or Supervisor.

Employment Requirements:

Education: Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering or designing trades.

Language: Fluent in English
