Hiring Basis: 6-month contract to permanent basis.

Shift: First Shift-7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay: $28-$32/Hourly/W2

Lotus Technical has a 6-month contract to permanent role for a Mechanical Assembler for our manufacturing client located in Maple Grove, MN. Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

SUMMARY

Seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team on the first shift. The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling industrial machinery and mechanical components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and production schedules. This position plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality equipment is built safely, efficiently, and accurately.

JOB DUTIES

Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and complete machines using hand and power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
Install bearings, shafts, motors, belts, pulleys, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
Perform mechanical adjustments and alignments to ensure proper machine operation.
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Work collaboratively with engineering, production, and quality teams.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Assist with machine testing and final assembly when required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Experience using hand tools, measuring tools, and power tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Must be US Citizen, or Green Card Holder.
