Mechanic Job

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced Auto Repair Technician for a reputable automotive service facility in Morrison, TN. We are looking for a dependable and skilled technician who takes pride in delivering quality work and excellent customer service.

Position Summary
The Auto Repair Technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles while ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in an automotive repair environment, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Pay
Starting at $20.00 per hour
Higher pay available based on experience, certifications, and skill level
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 2-3 years of automotive repair experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
ASE Certification(s)
Personal automotive tools (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities
Diagnose vehicle issues using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment
Perform repairs on engines, brakes, suspension systems, steering components, electrical systems, and other vehicle components
Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire services, and fluid checks
Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs and maintenance
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Follow all shop safety procedures and company policies
Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and work in a shop environment for extended periods
Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools
