Job Description:
AZ Diesel Truck Repair Ltd. located at 9761 129 St, Surrey, BC is currently looking to hire 1 full-time permanent position for a mechanic helper.
Job Duties:
To assist in routine maintenance and repairing of trucks & trailers such as changing oil, checking batteries, lubricating equipment, and machinery on heavy duty/diesel trucks.
Move tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas.
Hold stakes and, perform miscellaneous laboring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed.
Clean machines and immediate work areas after the installation.
Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working order, completing preventative maintenance on the associated equipment.
Job Requirements:
No formal education is required.
No experience is required. On job training will be provided.
Previous experience as mechanic helper will be an asset.
Language required is English.
Terms:
Salary: $ 23.00/hr
Hours of work: minimum 30 hrs to 40 hrs per week along with 2 days off per week.
Overtime will be paid if any.
