Position: Meat packing supervisor
Wage: CAD$28.00-35.00 /hour (depending on experiences)
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30~ 40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of meat packaging workers;
• Establish procedures to fulfill work schedules and align operations with other departments;
• Make sure production timelines and targets are achieved;
• Address workplace issues and suggest improvements to boost efficiency and product standards;
• Request necessary materials and supplies;
• Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policy;
• Advise on staffing decisions, including hiring and promotion recommendations;
• Prepare production and other reports.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• 2-3 years of experience in the food or beverage processing industry.
