About the company:
Our family has owned and operated Palma Pasta since 1985. We service our retail locations seven days a week and supply the food service sector all over the GTA.
We are now looking for a Meat Cutter to join our team to keep offering quality and reliable services. The responsibilities and qualifications are as follows:
Job Duties:
-Cut, slice, and portion meat according to specifications using knives and powered equipment.
-Use power machines to grind and slice meats.
-Weigh, package, label, and price meat for sale or distribution.
-Maintain a clean, sanitary work area in line with food safety regulations.
-Inspect meat quality, monitor expiry dates, and rotate stock as needed.
-Operate and maintain cutting and packaging equipment safely and report any malfunctions.

-High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
-7 months to 1 year of meat handling experience, preferably in a high-volume retail or food processing environment.
-Availability to work on-site with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
-Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
