Job Description:
Responsible for leveraging the full capabilities of the McLeod TMS to optimize transportation logistics, improve operational efficiency, and support business processes for a carrier, brokerage, or logistics service provider.
This role requires a deep understanding of McLeod's software suite, including modules like LoadMaster, as well as hands-on experience in transportation and supply chain operations.
The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for all functional aspects of the system.

Configure and maintain McLeod TMS settings and modules to align with business requirements for dispatch, accounting, driver management, and reporting.
Business Process Analysis:
Analyze existing transportation business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation using McLeod TMS features.
Requirement Gathering:
Work with internal stakeholders (e.g., dispatchers, accounting, sales) to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for system enhancements.
Implementation Support:
Assist in the implementation and deployment of McLeod solutions, including participating in user acceptance testing, developing test cases, and managing change.
Required Functional Skills McLeod Software Expertise:
In-depth, "Super User" level proficiency with McLeod's core TMS products, including LoadMaster and its various modules (e.g., dispatch, brokerage, accounting).
Transportation Management:
Strong functional knowledge of transportation and logistics operations, including load planning, dispatching, driver management, safety and compliance (HOS, DOT), and freight billing and settlement.
Freight Brokerage:
For brokerage-specific roles, expertise in carrier sourcing, load covering, rate confirmation, and managing carrier relationships within the McLeod TMS.
Financial Management:
Understanding of accounting principles specific to the transportation industry, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue settlement, and driver payroll, all within the McLeod system.
API and Integration Concepts: Familiarity with how McLeod's API and web services facilitate custom integrations and workflow automation.
Workflow Automation:
Experience designing and implementing business process automation within the McLeod platform, possibly using tools like FlowLogix for complex workflows.
