Materials Purchasing Manager Job

A Materials Purchasing Manager is needed in Valley, Alabama.

• Manage overall purchasing activities of various materials for manufacturing of automotive parts, including automotive seats, head rests, and arm rest.
• Direct negotiation with vendors in purchasing of raw materials, equipment, or supplies, and direct interview process to determine product availability and terms of sales.
• Evaluate price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable bidding prices.
• Develop and implement purchasing and contract management policies and procedures to coordinate overall purchasing activities.
• Review and authorize various documentation regarding purchasing activities, such as purchase orders, supplier contracts, invoices, memos, quotations, specifications, schedules, to convey information in regard to the procurement activities.
• Review and finalize all purchasing orders and contracts to ensure conformance to policies and standards.
• Build and manage strong and positive long-term business relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering and 2 years of experience in purchasing field.
