Materials Operations Manager Job

A Materials Operations Manager is needed Midway, Georgia.

• Plan and direct daily operations in materials management for manufacturing of automotive parts such as front and rear axle assembly, rear carrier assembly, half-shaft assembly, and cross grove joint for propeller shaft.
• Oversee general operations of materials and inventory management process including inbound materials inspection, warehouse compliance, inventory management by evaluating overall management process.
• Direct administrative activities of the materials management and perform personnel management functions such as hiring, training, and evaluation.
• Establish short-term and long-term objectives, goals, policies, and standards in materials management and oversee implementation.
• Participate in managerial meetings to communicate potential issues regarding materials activities and coordinate implementation of overall corporate/departmental objectives and policies within the department.
• Review and approve budget proposal for each team and allocate the funds accordingly.
• Oversee suppliers’ performance in providing materials to ensure materials are provided as needed within the limited budget.
• Oversee communication with parent and affiliated companies to coordinate materials management for manufacturing and other related issues.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or Supply Chain Management and 2 years of managerial experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management.
