• Conduct mechanical testing and characterization of materials for performance assessment.
• Model and implement design of experiments specifically for hydrogen storage technologies.
• Design proprietary materials in collaboration with industrial partners.
• Deliver technical presentations to communicate research findings and project progress.
• Develop quality control (QA/QC) protocols for externally sourced components to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with external vendors to procure high-quality custom components.
• Work within a highly collaborative team of physicists, chemists, materials scientists, engineers, and technicians.

Job Requirements:
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Metallurgy, or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Properties of Materials, Electron Microscopy, Thermodynamics, Microstructure and Properties of Materials, Current Developments of Ferrous Alloys, and Strengthening Mechanisms.
- Proficient in mechanical testing, metallography, technical drawings, technical analysis, technical writing, and technical presentations
