Materials Cost Manager Job

A Materials Cost Manager is needed in Auburn, Alabama.

• Direct preparation of cost analysis and oversee cost monitoring process for accurate estimation of overall cost in manufacturing of automotive parts, such as front and rear axle assembly, rear carrier assembly, half-shaft assembly, and cross grove joint for propeller shafts.
• Direct assessment of cost efficiencies in manufacturing to prepare to bid and formulate cost estimation strategies.
• Review analysis for cost adjustment, modification, and improvements to maximize cost efficiency and to develop sales and product development strategies.
• Review and approve cost estimation reports which analyze various cost factors such as materials procurement, labor, time, supply and demand status.
• Manage coordination with other departments to keep record of overall cost data for manufacturing process including development, purchasing, manufacturing, maintenance, quality control department.
• Evaluate and modify estimation of overall business operations cost by closely working with other departments to maintain cost efficiency in business operations.
• Oversee preparation of cost and expenditure statements, budget reports, and other necessary documents to identify any needs of changes or adjustment to cost estimates.

Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Mathematics.
