Job Description

Build pallets

Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment

Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products

Ship orders

Pick orders and stock

Weigh materials and goods

Make labels and attach to goods

Wrap goods

Pack and unpack goods

Sort, crate and stack goods

Organize and maintain inventory

Organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems

Maintain a clean working environment

Secure good/pallets

Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school.

Experience: Experience is an asset. We will train.

This position is physically demanding and involves manual labour.

Workers must be able to work in cold temperatures (-18C).

Workers must have good communication skills and be able to use computers.

Forklift license is an asset.

Salary: $21.92 per hour, 40-60 hours per week. Start rate of $21.92 per hour, additionally Night Shift Premium - $1.50 per hour or Afternoon Shift premium- 80 cents per hour

Transportation between work locations is provided by the employer.

Important information:

Flexibility in schedule and overtime work will be required. The position involves working on rotating shifts and may include weekends. Three shifts M.A.D. weekly rotation: Midnights (11:30 pm to 8:00 am), Afternoons (3:30 pm to 12:00 pm), Days (7:30 am to 4:00 pm). 1 week on midnights, 1 week on afternoons, 1 week on days and then repeat. Schedule will be based on customer volumes.
