is in need of Material Handler

NOC Code: 75101

Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Weigh, load, and unload grain shipments accurately and efficiently.
2. Load soybean meal and soybean oil for transport or processing.
3. Operate and maintain elevator and processing equipment.
4. Monitor dryer systems and overall processing plant operations.
5. Collect samples and conduct basic testing of products to ensure quality standards.
6. Clean and sweep grain bins, including emptying as required.
7. Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
8. Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal.
9. Perform other related duties assigned.

Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Some secondary school education may be required.
2. Work Experience: Previous related experience would be an asset but not required; On-the-job training will be provided
3. Working knowledge of pumps/motors, tractor experience is preferred but not mandatory.
4. Must be physical fit and be able to lift 50 lbs and above.
5. Driver's license is not required at the start of employment but must be willing to obtain one.

Working Hours: 6-12 hours/day, 30-72 hours/week; 12-hour shift on most days and must be comfortable doing day or night shifts (6 days on day shift, 6 days on night shift); 1 varied day off per week

Wage/Benefits: $23.00/hour / 5 days paid sick leave
