Position: Permanent, Full-time

Wage: $26.50 per hour

Hours: 30–40 hours per week

About Us

A-Z WasteBbin & Fence Rental is a trusted provider of waste bin and temporary fence rental services for residential, commercial, and construction projects throughout Alberta. We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Material Handler to support our daily operations by loading, unloading, organizing, and moving equipment and materials.

Job Duties

- Load/unload waste bins, temporary fencing panels, gates, posts, and related materials by hand or with material-handling equipment.

- Prepare, sort, count, inspect, and organize equipment and materials for customer deliveries and returns.

- Assist with loading and unloading trucks while ensuring materials are properly secured and handled safely.

- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, loaders, and other material handling equipment to transport and store materials.

- Move materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, vehicles, and work sites.

- Inspect returned equipment for damage and assist with cleaning and preparing items for future rentals.

- Open, pack, unpack, and organize inventory and supplies.

- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials and equipment.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and warehouse environment.

- Assist drivers and other team members with deliveries and site preparation as required.

- Follow company safety procedures and safe material handling practices.

- Perform other labouring and material handling duties as assigned.

Employment Requirements

- Some secondary school education may be required.

- Previous experience in material handling, warehousing, construction, or a related field is considered an asset.

- On-the-job training will be provided.

- Physical strength and stamina to perform repetitive lifting and manual labour are required.

- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is an asset.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Basic communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

- A commitment to workplace safety and safe handling practices.

- Reliable transportation to various work locations is considered an asset.
