Master Electrician Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team in Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and performing a wide range of electrical tasks, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations, and obtaining necessary permits. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior electricians.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Obtain necessary permits and ensure all electrical work complies with Alberta Building Code and provincial regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within larger projects.
- Provide guidance, training, and supervision to apprentice and journeyman electricians.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time and materials used.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
- Stay updated on new electrical technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.

Required Qualifications:

- Valid Master Electrician certification in Alberta.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a journeyman electrician.
- Proven ability to pull permits and manage electrical projects from start to finish.
- Extensive knowledge of the Alberta Building Code and provincial electrical regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
