Massage Therapist (MT)

Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on specific needs and health goals
• Clearly explain treatment procedures, including associated benefits and potential risks, ensuring informed client consent
• Deliver high-quality massage therapy treatments with complete focus on the client
• Monitor client comfort and adjust treatments as needed to ensure a safe, effective, and positive experience
• Recommend clients on treatment plans and home care
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date client records
• Maintain a strong collaborative working relationship with colleagues
• Uphold a clean, safe, and hygienic treatment environment at all times, following established health and safety protocols

Requirements:
• Massage Therapist Certification in Alberta - current registration and a member in good standing with one of the massage therapy associations in ALBERTA
• Completion of massage therapy program
• Experience an asset
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional, positive, and commitment to strong work ethic
• Self-motivated and team player
• Able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends

Working Conditions:
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work evening/weekend shifts

Salary $48.00 (CAD) per hour
