Job Duties:

• Perform client assessments by evaluating range of motion and muscle function to develop personalized treatment plans
• Communicate the massage procedures, along with any potential risks and benefits, to clients in an understandable manner
• Apply massage therapy techniques to treat muscles and joints, using methods such as soft tissue manipulation, relaxation strategies, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, mobilization, and guided remedial exercises
• Offer at-home care advice, including posture correction strategies and exercises for stretching, strengthening, relaxation, and rehabilitation
• Keep accurate and detailed records of all treatments administered to clients
• Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners, including physiotherapists, chiropractors, doctors, and psychologists, when needed to support a client’s treatment plan

Job Requirements:

- Regulatory Requirement: Registration with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC) is required.
- Experience: Experience is an Asset.
- Education: Complete a massage therapy program from an accredited school
