Key Duties:
• Assess sales and market conditions to determine marketing and advertising needs.
• Build marketing plans with goals, target customers, budget, and timelines.
• Arrange and optimize advertising in practical channels, including website, online listings, local print/radio, flyers, and handle the creative and approvals.
• Keep the website and online listings accurate and make it stand out in search engine optimization.
• Do market checks, including receiving and analyzing customer feedback, reviewing the marker conditions, analyze sales & foot-traffic to find the best marketing approach.
• Create clear marketing materials, such as in-store signs, product descriptions, brochures, menus, web pages, emails, consistent with the brand.
• Handle public-relations tasks: draft announcements, maintain a list of local media/community contacts, and respond to inquiries.
• Plan and run promotions and in-store events; coordinate with suppliers, community partners and set up displays to match brand standards.
• Track results, including sales lift, customer inquiries, foot-traffic, and prepare a monthly summary with recommendations.
• Manage budgets and vendors: get quotes, place orders, check invoices, and keep activities on time and on budget.
• Keep organized records of campaigns, materials, approvals, and outcomes; follow advertising and email rules and brand guidelines.
• Work with the store operations teams to direct designing, printing, photography as needed.

Job Requirements:
Position Type: Permanent, full-time, non-seasonal (35–40 hours/week)
Work Arrangement: On-site, not remote
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in marketing/communications with hands-on campaign execution is an asset.
• Working knowledge of Meta/Google Ads, Google Analytics, search engine optimization and various digital marketing tools is an asset.
• Proficiency with content creation tools, e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalents is an asset.
• Excellent project management, organization, and stakeholder communication skills; comfortable managing multiple projects to deadline.
• Experience in multicultural or international marketing and retail merchandising is an asset.
