Marketing Coordinator Job

Laila Express Inc. in Victoria, BC is looking for a Marketing Coordinator.

Position: Marketing Coordinator
Wage: C$37 per hour
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of the employee's total wages during the year
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Work Location: Victoria, BC

Job Duties:
• Evaluate delivery and pickup service features to identify effective ways to reach potential customers and promote Laila Express’s services
• Develop and implement marketing strategies, including printed materials and in-store promotions
• Create content for physical marketing materials such as flyers, posters, and signage
• Coordinate promotional offers or incentives to encourage repeat business
• Track customer response to marketing initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly
• Provide insights and recommendations related to marketing activities and campaign effectiveness
• Set up and manage basic online profiles or business listings, and engage with customer reviews or feedback where applicable
• Support the development of simple communication strategies to keep customers informed of service hours, updates, and pickup/delivery availability
• Conduct market research to better understand customer preferences, local demand, and competitor activity
• Explore opportunities to increase brand awareness within the local community and through vendor partnerships

Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a related field is preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
• Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms
• Excellent communication and writing skills
