About the Employer
Hi-Performance Painting Ltd. is a Surrey-based painting contractor serving residential and commercial clients across the Lower Mainland. The company provides painting and finishing services and is connected to paint supply and retail operations through three Benjamin Moore retail outlets operated under common ownership. These three Benjamin Moore locations supply paint, coatings, and related materials to contractors and the public, and create direct business development, referral, product-awareness, and customer engagement opportunities for the painting contracting business.
Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will be employed by Hi-Performance Painting Ltd. and will support marketing and communications activity for the company's painting contracting services, while also coordinating approved cross-promotional and brand-development initiatives connected to the three Benjamin Moore retail outlets under common ownership. Reporting to ownership/management, the role is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing the company's digital presence, producing marketing materials, supporting website and e-commerce promotions, and supporting business development for the contracting and related paint retail operations.
Job Details
• Position type: Permanent, full-time
• Hours: 32 hours per week
• Compensation: $61,000 annually, equivalent to approximately $36.66 per hour
• Vacation pay: 4% as per BC Employment Standards
• Benefits: None at this time
• Work location: On-site in Surrey, British Columbia. The role supports Hi-Performance Painting Ltd. and related marketing initiatives connected to the three Benjamin Moore retail outlets under common ownership. There is no remote work option.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies for Hi-Performance Painting Ltd. and related promotional initiatives connected to the three Benjamin Moore retail outlets under common ownership.
• Develop a portfolio of marketing materials, including print collateral, digital assets, signage, service information, and promotional content.
• Conduct online marketing, e-commerce, and website promotions to support client acquisition and customer engagement.
• Maintain and manage digital databases, including customer, prospect, campaign, and marketing records.
• Prepare reports, research, written content, and marketing updates to support business decisions.
• Support the development and implementation of business plans for the painting contracting services and related retail promotional activities.
• Coordinate brand management activity for Hi-Performance Painting Ltd. and aligned promotional activity connected to the Benjamin Moore retail locations.
• Plan and support corporate social responsibility and community engagement initiatives.
• Provide marketing-related technical support for website content, digital promotions, social media, and customer-facing promotional materials.
• Perform related marketing, communications, and administrative tasks.

Education
College/CEGEP diploma in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
Experience
Three (3) to less than five (5) years of progressive experience in a marketing, communications, or coordinator role. Experience in retail, trades, construction, painting, paint supply, or a related industry is an asset.
Skills Required
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing strategies.
• Working knowledge of digital marketing, social media, website promotion, and e-commerce platforms.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency with digital database management and standard office software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
