Need a publishing and marketing assistant/associate to handle administrative, marketing, and sales tasks for an independent author/actress and publisher of non-fiction and fiction works, games, and more. There is DEFINITELY room to grow in this position, depending on the skill set of the employee! This is one of many verticals we work in, and we’re looking for someone who can eventually run this side of our business.
Candidates must have/be:
• An associate’s Degree or above (or currently in school in a program related to this field) • A genuine interest in the publishing and/or marketing field! I appreciate the hustle, but please no moonlighters or people looking for a job \\\"in the meantime” - we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us for at least a full year. Writers who want to learn about publishing their own books or projects welcome! • A strong work ethic • Strong organizational skills • An understanding of administrative tasks on the back end of KDP • Basic familiarity with KDP and ACX • Willingness to do extra research if necessary • Flexible schedule • Able to present well as a public/online representative of the business • Live in Los Angeles area (preferred but not a dealbreaker)
