Position: Meat Department Manager

Working hours: 30hrs ~ 40hrs/week
Number of Positions: 1
Benefit: 4% of gross salary OR 10 days paid vacation as a vacation reimbursement.

Job Duties:
• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate the operations of the store’s meat department.
• Determine the meat, poultry and seafood products to be sold, and implement pricing policies.
• Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to procure merchandise for resale.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies and promotions for the department.
• Plan the department budget, authorize expenditures and monitor revenues.
• Manage and assign duties to meat department staff, including butchers and meat cutters, and address staffing requirements such as the hiring, development and retention of staff.
• Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and complaints.
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Experience: 3~5 years of related retail experience at increasing levels of responsibility is required.
