Manufacturing Support Engineer Job

A Manufacturing Support Engineer is needed in Auburn, Alabama.

• Study and analyze engineering requirements for the manufacturing systems and equipment for manufacturing of automotive parts, such as front and rear assembly, rear carrier assembly, half-shaft assembly, and cross grove joint for propeller shafts.
• Review prototypes, layout of equipment, sequence of operations for manufacturing systems to ensure maximum efficiency during production.
• Test finished products and production processes to make sure they meet standards and requirements.
• Examine and identify any abnormal conditions in running manufacturing systems and design preventive actions and steps to prevent recurrence of such conditions.
• Coordinate the acquisition and control of necessary equipment, materials, and components to support manufacturing activities.
• Communicate production schedule and capacity details to support smooth manufacturing operations.
• Review reports on systemic machinery errors and discuss concerns with team members and other departments to ensure safe and efficient operation of manufacturing systems.
• Monitor of the automated equipment and automated production line to ensure highest possible productivity, efficiency, and performance.

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
