Manufacturing IT Specialist (ERP/MES Systems) Job

Sewon America is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing IT Specialist to serve as an essential employee, managing and optimizing the company’s ERP (SAP) and MES systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical for ensuring seamless system integration, data accuracy, and operational efficiency across U.S. operations and coordination with Sewon Korea headquarters. Due to the specialized knowledge required to manage manufacturing IT systems and integrate global operations, this position is essential to the company’s continued growth and operational continuity.

Job Responsibilities
Manage and optimize ERP (SAP) and MES systems critical to manufacturing operations
Coordinate with production, logistics, and engineering teams to resolve system-related issues
Support system integration and data consistency between U.S. facilities and Korea headquarters
Lead implementation and adoption of new manufacturing IT systems and process improvements
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure network and data security
Maintain IT documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user manuals
Collaborate with vendors and service providers for IT solutions and system support
Assist with hardware and software setup, testing, and ongoing maintenance for plant systems

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, system administration, or manufacturing IT
Hands-on experience with ERP (SAP preferred) and MES or similar manufacturing systems
Experience implementing new systems, troubleshooting, and process improvement
Knowledge of network infrastructure, data security, and IT operations in manufacturing
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Experience coordinating with international teams or global IT systems is a plus
Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus
