Job Description:
• Operate and maintain MES functions in a high-volume battery manufacturing environment to ensure stable production execution, accurate system performance, and reliable shop-floor operations;
• Analyze MES architecture, production workflows, and system requirements to identify technical issues and develop improvements that enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality;
• Implement MES enhancements in coordination with Software Engineers and Process Engineers to improve production execution, quality traceability, and equipment connectivity;
• Configure, validate, and optimize system-based manufacturing workflows across process management, quality management, and equipment management functions to improve operational consistency and production reliability;
• Monitor daily MES transactions, data flows, and system activities to ensure data accuracy, reliable processing, and proper execution of in-process manufacturing operations;
• Troubleshoot MES issues affecting production flow, system interfaces, and shop-floor operations, and perform root cause analysis to reduce downtime and improve system stability;
• Implement corrective actions and preventive measures for recurring MES errors, transaction failures, and interface issues to prevent operational disruption and strengthen long-term system reliability;
• Perform detailed production and system data analysis using TIBCO Spotfire and other analytical tools to monitor real-time manufacturing status, evaluate system performance, and identify technical improvement opportunities;
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, automated key performance indicator (“KPI”) reports, and visual analytics tools that provide production teams and engineers with actionable operational data;
• Create visual analytics and reporting tools used to evaluate product quality trends, process variability, and manufacturing performance in coordination with Process Engineers;
• Administer MES operations for battery production across all Stock Keeping Units (“SKUs”) at multiple manufacturing sites to ensure consistent system functionality and operational continuity;
• Integrate MES functions with Warehouse Management System (“WMS”), Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”), and related enterprise platforms to enable accurate data exchange and efficient operational processing;
• Execute system upgrades, configuration changes, feature testing, and interface validation to align MES capabilities with evolving production and business requirements;
• Participate in automation equipment testing, system interface validation, and inspection logic improvement for pre-shipment module inspection systems to enhance quality assurance and operational accuracy;
• Train engineers, analysts, and shop-floor users on MES functionality, troubleshooting procedures, reporting tools, and system applications within battery manufacturing operations;

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related technical field with at least two (2) years of experience in Manufacturing Execution System (“MES”) operations in the electric vehicle (“EV”) battery industry;
• Experience in production systems, data analysis, process improvement, and manufacturing operations;
• Experience identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system, process, data, or operational issues; and
• Ability to perform technical troubleshooting, reporting, data visualization, and cross-functional coordination in a manufacturing environment.
