Manufacturing Engineer Job

A Manufacturing Engineer is needed in Opelika, Alabama.

• Design, integrate, and improve manufacturing systems and related processes used in the production of automotive parts.
• Troubleshoot new or existing manufacturing equipment and product issues, identifying root causes of failures and recommending design, tolerance, or process modifications using statistical methods.
• Apply continuous-improvement methods, such as Lean manufacturing principles, to enhance process quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and throughput.
• Prepare documentation for new or modified manufacturing processes, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures, and engineering change notice.
• Design layouts of equipment and workspaces to maximize production efficiency, optimize material flow, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Design and validate tests of finished products and process capabilities, establishing performance standards and verifying those methods meet client and regulatory requirements.

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
