Manufacturing Engineer Job

SVTronics Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer in Plano, Texas. Need bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or foreign equivalent. Need 2 years of experience as Mechanical Engineer, including 2 years of experience in manufacturing process improvement using Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies, troubleshooting production issues, and performing root cause analysis. Job duties: Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes, production methods, and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. Analyze production operations and implement process improvements using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to optimize throughput and minimize waste. Design, implement, and maintain manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support efficient and consistent production processes. Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve yield and reduce defects. Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing problems and ensure smooth operation of assembly and testing processes. Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including process specifications, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Evaluate and validate manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering requirements. Monitor production performance using data analysis and defect tracking tools, identifying trends and recommending process improvements. Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring manufacturability, developing production processes, and assisting in transitioning designs into production. Provide technical support to production teams, including troubleshooting equipment and process-related issues in manufacturing and testing environments. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure materials, components, and equipment meet manufacturing and quality requirements.
