Job Description:
A Manufacturing Engineer is needed in Auburn, Alabama.
• Analyze or troubleshoot design or production issues by analyzing manufacturing operations processes for manufacturing automotive HVAC systems and parts.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing bottlenecks such as material waste, throughput delays, or assembly line disruptions specifically in production.
• Implement process improvements by applying lean manufacturing techniques to enhance manufacturability, reduce production costs, and improve quality of manufactured parts.
• Review parts component designs for manufacturability, collaborating with design engineers to ensure efficient production, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with automotive standards.
• Incorporate new manufacturing methods or technologies, such as automation, advanced tooling, or production equipment upgrades, to modernize HVAC parts manufacturing.
• Determine root causes of failures and recommend corrective design or process changes, using statistical methods to improve system reliability and performance.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports, including process specifications, production performance metrics, and manufacturing procedure manuals.
• Develop training documents for new or updated manufacturing methods, ensuring proper implementation and knowledge transfer on the production floor.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
