Job Description:
Position Summary:
Ecoplastic America is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Automation Engineer with specialized experience in automotive production line automation. This role is essential to our upcoming smart factory initiatives and the integration of robotics and automated systems across our manufacturing lines. The successful candidate will ensure seamless implementation, optimization, and maintenance of advanced automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and optimize industrial robots and automation systems for automotive component manufacturing lines.
• Perform robot path teaching, motion optimization, and interference checks considering line layout and equipment constraints.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-controlled production equipment, including robots, conveyors, and assembly tools.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and ensure stable production operations.
• Support the integration of smart factory technologies and ERP/SAP systems into automated production processes.
• Provide guidance on automation best practices and equipment setup for new production lines or model introductions.
• Participate in international or domestic installation projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering (or equivalent specialized experience).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive manufacturing automation, industrial robotics, or production line integration.
• Hands-on experience with FANUC or Yaskawa robots, MotoSim-VRC, PLC systems, and vision-based tracking systems (e.g., ISRA).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automated systems.
• Experience with production line layout, robot integration, and process optimization.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Experience in overseas or multi-site automation projects is a plus.
