Position Responsibilities: Interview end users to determine requirements for data, reports, analyses, metadata, training, service levels, data quality, and performance. Business requirement walkthrough with Business Analyst and share same details with offshore team members for better project requirement understanding. Prepare understanding documents as per Business Requirements. Translate requirements into technical specifications. Design logical and physical data structures as required to support business needs, and for managing the distribution, replication, and archival of data. Design ETL infrastructure for obtaining data from diverse source system platforms and moving it to the Business Intelligence solution. Structure data for optimal access, performance, and integration and includes defining the hierarchies and relationships between data entities and attributes used in reporting. Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources. Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes. Map design components with user, and technical requirements, i.e., Prepare Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM). Develop Analytical solutions objects used to analysis data from source systems into staging tables and transforms data into data mart structures. Design multi-dimensional cubes and calculations to define measures and key performance indicators. Conduct peer code review for developed code/components. Prepare Unit and Integration Test Cases as per developed code and business requirement. Review of Unit Test Plan to ensure that Unit Test Plan covers all conditions provided in program specifications. Help testing team to cover major functionality test cases and to understand business requirements.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, or related field, PLUS five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: Cognos BI; Framework Manager (Model); CUBEs (Transfer and Dynamic); Metric Insights; Tableau; Google Cloud Platform; Big Query; DAGs; Python; NumPy; Machine Learning; MySQL; SQL, and; REST APIs. Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. approximately 30%, as required. May telecommute from any location within the U.S. Supervise two (2) subordinate employees.
