Manager- Risk and Compliance Job

Job brief
This position provides hands-on risk management and related support to the clients global wide. We’re a part of a unique client proposition, assisting our clients develop sufficient internal controls and risk management framework by leveraging quantitative and analytical skills and technology solutions to underpin efficient execution of governance, to optimize their risk and compliance policies and processes, and improve business performance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, leading and reporting on process, risk and control initiatives with our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Have extensive risk management program and execution experience, preferably in the Financial Lease industry, Financial Services industry and professional services organizations
• Have a strong understanding of the Asia and North American Financial Sector regulatory landscape
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry leading practices relating to regulatory reporting programs and processes
• Demonstrating familiarity with financial lease, financial service, family offices, hedge funds, PE/VCs, trading desks, related operations and systems in the context of safety and soundness expectations and regulatory reporting requirements, as well as an understanding of risk management, risk governance, compliance programs, and integration of internal controls and compliance controls into the scope of existing business practices
• Assessing, developing and implementing sustainable internal control & risk management activities including governance and oversight structures, compliance processes and controls, and risk management practices
• Developing and executing regulatory compliance-related first, second and third line of defense monitoring and testing programs.
• Managing project timelines, quality, budget as well as client relationships
• Adapt to and simultaneously deliver on a variety of client engagements of varying size, scope and complexity
• Engage with cross functional engagement teams comprised of diverse backgrounds and skill sets
• Assist with business development efforts including proposals, marketing materials, internal and external presentations
• Delivering high quality work that is on time, and in compliance with the Firm’s quality standards

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• At least 5 years related experiences in related areas / professional firms.
• CFA/FRM designation or working on it
Required Education
• Master’s degree, MBA preferred
