Job Description:

Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
Location: 102-650 Hwy 7 E, Richmond Hill, ON, L4B 2N7 Canada
Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-time by shifts including evening, weekend and holidays
Salary: $65,000 – $73,000 per year
Benefit: Health Insurance Coverage (operational), Paid Vacation Days.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize and lead the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining environment.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring alignment with company standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Implement management policies and reward systems to enhance staff performance and growth.
• Conduct regular staff performance reviews and provide coaching or additional training as necessary.
• Create weekly staff schedules, ensure smooth shift transitions, and monitor staff performance to optimize service efficiency.
• Oversee inventory control, including restaurant supplies, sauces, and utensils. Negotiated arrangement with suppliers as needed. Perform regular checks on inventories to monitor revenue and price adjusting.
• Ensure that guests receive exceptional service by maintaining high standards for food quality, presentation, and table-side interaction typical of hotpot dining.
• Address and resolve customer complaints promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all guests. Maintain efficient communication between front-of-house and kitchen staff to support smooth operations.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback to refine offerings and enhance loyalty.
• Participate in management meetings to discuss customer feedback and operational challenges and contribute in determining, implementing and enhancing operational procedures and restaurant services.
• Responsible for daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements and reports.
• Ensure the services meet the head office standers and government legislation and regulations are met.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns and social media outreach to promote the chain’s unique hotpot experience. Monitor restaurant reputations on social media platforms, increase positive online reviews quota to meet.
Job Requirements:

• Completion of post-secondary education is required. Programs in related to hospitality and business management field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in food service industry in management role is required.
• Fluently in English. Be able to speak Chinese is an asset.
• Strong multitasking ability and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and ensure smooth team collaboration.
