Manager,Payroll Job

Summary: Responsible for directing the payroll services and system for all Cook Children's Companies. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all payroll related issues including, payroll policies, procedures, taxes, timekeeping, processing and related Kronos/Lawson IT systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.


• Requires 5 years Payroll Management experience.


• Requires minimum 10 years payroll processing experience with strong foundation of federal and state wage and hour laws.


• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills preferred.


• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel highly preferred.


• Healthcare payroll processing experience preferred.


• Lawson Payroll system experience preferred.


• Kronos Workforce Central experience required.


• Significant working knowledge of state and federal wage & hour laws required.


• IRS Form 940 & 941 preparation and filing experience required.


• CPP preferred.
