Manager-Operations Job

Next Gen Communications Corp. located at #201-1460, Main Street, North Vancouver, B.C.V7J 1C8, is looking to fill in the position of a Manager-Operations. We are seeking a motivated and experienced cadidate to lead and coordinate daily operations accross the stores and to work along with our Regional Manager.
Salary- $46.50/ hour
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours- 40 hours/week. Mon-Fri, 9AM-5PM.

Job Location: Main work is only at at the above address. Applicant will be required to travel to different store locations to supervise staff.
Job duties for this position include:
A customer centric approach while managing the team across different stores and head office;
Preparing weekly company reports for review by Regional Manager;
Preparing and coordinating schedules for staff;
Ensure team is knowledgeable of company policies and are proficient in solving customer service issues efficiently;
Providing guidance and support to team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets with training and motivation strategies to sales teams;
Assisting management in the hire and training or new employees;
Developing sales strategies with online and offline marketing to boost store sales;
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed;

Job Requirements:
- Class 5 BC Driver License is required since position involves travel to different store locations during the week.
- 2 years or more of experience in a supervisory level or leadership role is required;
- Please highlight in your resume any previous experience in telecommunications industry;
- Good communication skills, positive attitude to work and people management skills;
- Ideal applicant must be available to work on any scheduled, rotational or call in shifts including weekends
- Able to work under pressure and time constraint in fast paced environment;
