Manager of Production Management Job

A Manager of Production Management is needed in Auburn, Alabama.

• Manage and oversee the daily production operations of the company to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity in manufacturing automotive components, such as front axle assembly, rear axle assembly, rear carrier assembly, half-shaft assembly, and cross grove joint.
• Develop both short-term and long-term operational objectives by evaluating production capacity, facility needs, capital investments, and budgetary considerations to align with company goals.
• Lead production engineering efforts, including capital and process improvement projects, to optimize manufacturing systems.
• Review and approve operational reports and schedules prepared by supervisors to ensure alignment with organizational procedures.
• Direct and coordinate employee training programs and assess staff performance by assigning tasks and conducting periodic evaluations.
• Monitor and approve weekly and monthly production reports to confirm adherence to delivery schedules and operational timelines.
• Oversee the effective allocation of human resources, materials, and equipment to maintain a streamlined production process.
• Ensure all production activities comply with applicable safety regulations and standards.

Bachelor’s Degree & 2 years of experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry.
