Job requirements
Languages- English
Education- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience- 1 year to less than 2 years
Job duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations
• Assess daily operations
• Develop plans for modifications to schedules and policies
• Create reports for senior management
• Manage staff and Educate employees
• Supervise the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and shipments
• Coordinate shipping documentation along with the tracking and tracing of goods in transit
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations
• Develop and enforce policies and standards for the transportation and storage of products
• Negotiate service agreements and favorable rates
• Manage the establishment of transportation service rates and monitor revenue
• Document cargo details, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage
• Comply with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Transportation/travel information
