Location: 1900 Camden Ave., Suite 66, San Jose, CA 95124
Position Responsibilities: Design and architect the cloud migration roadmap for the migration of on-premises systems to cloud platforms. Architect and implement best practices for ingesting, cleansing, and curating data into the Enterprise Data Lake to support real-time and batch processing. Build scalable and reusable frameworks across different layers of the data lake to streamline delivery efforts and drive cost savings. Work closely with industry and use-case SMEs to apply the required data quality and transformation rules to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of the data to drive effective data exploration and analytics. Implement robust data governance best practices for secure, compliant, and well managed data access across the organization. Implement effective data cataloging systems for improved discovery, tracking, and lineage of data lake assets across the Enterprise Data Lake. Establish performance optimization best practices to meet business SLAs while optimizing cloud costs. Orchestrate workloads on cloud platforms to automate complex workloads and manage dependencies. Implement frameworks for continuous integration and continuous deployment to facilitate the transition of workloads from development to production environments. Build, lead, and mentor technical engineering teams to drive successful delivery of client engagements. Provide updates on project progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders to ensure transparency and timely decision-making.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics Engineering, or related field, PLUS five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: Databricks; PySpark; AWS; Hive; Sqoop; Oracle Data Integrator; Talend Big Data; CI/CD, and; Agile methodologies. Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. approximately 30%, as required. May telecommute from any location within the U.S.
