Job Description:

The Manager, CMS, Digital Products and Experience provides operational coverage of GMAC's CMS solution, Sitecore, across MBA.com and GMAC.com. The role is the organization's SME and leads GMAC's use of Sitecore, enabling an improved user experience for internal users and external customers. Additionally, it provides crucial support to the Digital Platforms and Experience function of which Sitecore plays a major part.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Partner with the technology and marketing teams, serving as the business lead for systems integrations with the Sitecore CMS, coordinating with Technology team for ongoing system support and platform enhancements, including embedded functionality.

  • Lead administrative activities for the Sitecore platform, which may include restructuring the organization's existing user roles/permissions setup, reorganizing integrated digital media library and establishing logical and intuitive content folder structure for improved user experience and navigation.

  • As the internal Sitecore Product lead, handle inbound digital requests for Sitecore enhancements, changes, or new features, gathering and documenting initial requirements.

  • Create, train, and nurture a community of delegated CMS users across business units, sharing updates on outages, maintenance, upgrades, best practices, newly introduced features and functionality.

  • Provide content publishing support to the business, updating website content and copy in Test and Production environments.

  • Work closely with UX/UI lead to optimize the user experience across navigation and accessibility

  • Work alongside the Digital Platforms and Experience team to translate business requirements into potential solutions, assisting with delivery of agreed upon solution.

  • Develop and enhance processes and relationships with internal stakeholders across the GMAC organization ensuring alignment to the operational processes.

  • Where required, support the QA/testing activities, both functional and user.

  • Other responsibilities and duties, as assigned.




Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or certification; Or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.

  • 3 years' experience in a related position, preferably in a knowledge-based professional services sector.

  • Strong knowledge and experience using Sitecore Experience Platform CMS (Versions 8-10), including templates, layouts, roles & authorizations workflows, publishing, versioning etc.

  • Extensive experience with a different CMS platform, but with very similar characteristics and functionality would also be considered.

  • Ability to extrapolate core business requirements from users and understand complex business challenges at speed.

  • Comfortable working and leading in a multi-product team, potentially driving several deliverables and plans concurrently to multiple stakeholders.

  • Self-starter mentality, able to operate sufficiently without full guidance, managing own workload and priorities.

  • Refined and effective time management techniques and strategies to balance both daily and long-term priorities and goals.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long term professional relationships at all levels, internally and externally.

  • Ability to work in-office and remotely according to GMAC's hybrid work environment.

Desired Skills/Experience:



  • Experience in using Jira.

  • Working knowledge of HTML.

  • Working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Illustrator or similar design program.

  • Working knowledge SEO best practice.

  • Experience working in an Agile environment, within a Digital team covering both delivery and operations.

  • Familiarity with higher education industry.
