The Nails Metrotown is looking for a Manager!
Employer: MINS THE NAIL OF CANADA INC. o/a The Nails Metrotown
Working Location: 6382 Silver Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5H 0J2
Position: Manager (Permanent, Full-time)
Available: 1
Wage: $37.51 per hour
Working hours: 30~40 hours per week
Benefits: Paid vacation and sick time by BC Employment Standards
Job Duties:
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operation.
• Plan and manage advertising, seasonal promotion plans or marketing strategies etc.
• Manage and record daily sales and reservation schedules.
• Build staff work schedules considering season, events, and vacation requests etc., and deploy staff based on the reservation schedules.
• Oversee staff training and coach based on their performance.
• Monitor supplies and equipment and order new stock as needed.
• Address and resolve customer complaints regarding services and staff behavior.
• Make sure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Respond to inquiries or complaints and resolve problems.
• Recruit and train staff regarding duties and possible promotions etc., if required.
• May need to perform the duties as staff, if needed.

• Education: Completion of Secondary
• Experience:
o 2-3 years of related work experience in personal care (nails/lashes/brows etc.) including a minimum 2 years of working experience in supervisory roles, or
o 2-3 years of related work experience in personal care (nails/lashes/brows etc.) including one year of working experience in supervisory roles who completed any personal/beauty care related course
• Must be available to work ALL weekends and holidays.
