Position Title: Manager - Analytics
Location: 1900 Camden Ave., Suite 66, San Jose, CA 95124
Position Responsibilities: Partner with business and technical teams to understand project objectives, providing data-driven solutions and recommendations. Develop and supervise the roadmap, timelines, and delivery of data analytics initiatives, engaging stakeholders across teams and functions. Lead diverse data-solution programs, encompassing data pipelines, visualizations, alerts, and advanced analytics. Translate business inquiries into testable hypotheses and data models, advocating exploration of data anomalies or patterns with explanatory or predictive value. Lead the technical delivery, implementation, and adoption of scalable, reliable data analytics, and business intelligence solutions across cross-functional teams. Ensure solutions' scalability, repeatability, efficiency, and effectiveness, contributing hands-on to various analytics issues. Monitor team adherence to estimates, schedules, and quality parameters, executing plans and addressing deviations proactively. Manage risks and issues to closure, tracking action items with stakeholders for timely resolution. Create presentations leveraging multiple data sources, extracting insights, recommending actions, and devising execution plans. Coordinate with the data engineering team to align data infrastructure with analytics needs and validate data quality. Drive cross-functional projects requiring collaboration from data analytics, data engineering, and data science teams. Provide leadership and guidance to the analytics team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Collaborate effectively with offshore teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment of objectives, and efficient workflow. Be involved in the development of the company through pre-sales/operational support.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Informatics, or related field, PLUS five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: Looker; Power BI; Tableau; R; Excel; Python; SQL; Redshift; Snowflake; Optimizely; Salesforce; NetSuite; Gainsight; Zuora; Anaplan; Segment; Anomaly Detection; Forecasting; and, Media Mix Modeling. Travel to unanticipated client locations approximately 30%, as required. May telecommute from any location within the U.S.
