Maintenance Worker Job

We are currently looking for an experienced maintenance worker who will be a valuable part of management team to ensure that our premises are always kept in superb condition. Key responsibilities are the following:
· Respond to cleaning and maintenance requests
· Perform routine adjustments and minor repairs, make service calls
· Prepare interior and exterior of the property for the upcoming events
· Be responsible for inventory control, purchase necessary supplies and equipment
· Check the building systems on a daily basis, assist tradespersons if the inspection requires their involvement
· Ensure that safety and security measures are in place
· Perform other duties as requested

· Secondary school diploma
· 6 months of experience in position with similar duties
· Knowledge and understanding of all maintenance systems (security and fire alarm systems, boilers, etc.) is an asset
· Able to build and cultivate superior relationships with internal and external contacts

BENEFITS AND SALARY
· Full-time, permanent position consisting of 30-40 weekly work hours
· The remuneration will be set at CA$21.63 per hour
· Occasional overtime may be required. Overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week and will be remunerated at one and a half time the regular pay rate
· Work location: 10 Planchet Rd., Unit 16, Concord, Ontario L4K 2C8
