How YOU will make an impact everyday:
* Performs assigned preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required
* Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
* Inspects building to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair
* Performs minor plumbing, electrical and painting maintenance using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools
* Order parts and maintains required documents
* Maintain parts and supply inventory needed to maintain operations
* Must be able to work flexible hours
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications for YOU to be successful:
* 1-2 years working experience in machine maintenance/manufacturing and basic understanding of electrical, troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Dependable; maintains regular and punctual attendance.
* Assignments are received in task-oriented terms from direct Supervisor
* Follows established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
* Strong communication skills
* Proficient computer skills
