Maintenance Technician Job

Location: 16645 Granite Rd, Maple Heights, OH 44137
Shift/Hours: Mon-Thurs, 6am – 4pm, flexibility for Friday overtime as needed. May be required to work 2nd shift/off shift.
Pay: $30.38 p/hr

The Opportunity:
Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems including PLCs.
Responsibilities include:
· Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently.
· Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems.
· Work on motors, conveyors, AC/DC, and PLC troubleshooting.
· Will work with steam and boiler controls, and mechanical power drives.
· Perform predictive and preventative maintenance activities.
· Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
· Complete Timely and accurate paperwork.

What you need to succeed:
· Strong Electrical and Mechanical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience.
· Experience with Troubleshooting in a Production/Manufacturing Environment.
· Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.
· Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives.
· Able to install and troubleshoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits.
· Knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches.
· A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
· PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability preferred.
· Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
· Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.
· Ability to work overtime.
· Basic mathematical skills and basic technology/computer skills.
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Military training and/or Technical School preferred.
· Corrugated background is a plus, but not required
