Maintenance Technician Job

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, machinery, buildings, and systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. They perform preventive maintenance, respond to maintenance requests, and support facility upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
Install, test, and maintain equipment and building systems.
Maintain accurate maintenance records.
Order and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
Collaborate with production, operations, and management teams to resolve maintenance issues.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
Experience in maintenance, facilities, manufacturing, or a related field.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
