Maintenance Technician Job

Lovingly Made Flour Mills is looking for two (2) Full-Time Maintenance Technician (NOC 72400)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $45.41/hour, with benefits.
Job Description:
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, including mixers, conveyors, packaging machines, and other industrial machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and make necessary repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Install, align, and secure equipment such as pumps, motors, and belts as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to accurately troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure machinery meets operational and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, documenting all repairs, replacements, and adjustments made.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in equipment upgrades and improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and support production demands as required.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance or industrial machinery repair experience (plant equipment), or equivalent education
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, welding equipment, and other tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
• Know how to use FIIX and administer maintenance schedules.
• Language in the workplace is English
