Job Requirements:
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Supervise staff across various areas of responsibility by assigning tasks and monitoring performance
• Recruit, train, and evaluate maintenance staff
• Recommend staff training, arrange for training, and conduct sessions as needed
• Develop strategies to optimize workflow and manage workloads
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify issues
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to prevent delays
• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs when required
• Manage inventory, equipment, tools, and supplies
• Set up equipment, tools, and supplies for repairs and maintenance
• Ensure proper storage and timely procurement of equipment, tools, and supplies
• Coordinate and prepare schedules with contractors, suppliers, and service providers for outsourced work
• Assist with cost estimation and resource planning for maintenance projects
• Estimate costs and materials required for repairs
• Monitor facility systems and energy usage, recommending improvements to increase efficiency
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and follow-ups, and prepare reports for management
• Brief management on operational or facility issues and provide practical solutions
Qualifications and Skills:
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 2 years to less than 3 years of related work experience
• Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication; Organized; Reliability; Team player
