Anticipated Start Date May 1st, 2024
Job Duties:
Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
Empty trash cans and other waste containers
Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
Perform minor repairs on appliances
Perform safety and security checks
Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants
Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
Assist in Construction of roofs and decks, preparing and pouring concrete
Upkeep of campground infrastructure, Water system, Electrical system, and Septic system
Maintain Campsite cleanliness
May drive company vehicle around the campground to perform maintenance work

Education: Some secondary education is required
Experience: At least 2 years of maintenance experience are required
Driver’s license is an asset
Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling heavy loads, lifting
Personal suitability: Dependability, Flexibility, Reliability, Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Team player, Organized.
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Wet/damp, Dusty, Hot, Cold.
Language: English is required.
Salary: $21.14 hourly, 45 hours per week
Benefits: Accommodation on-site provided at a discounted rate, Uniforms provided by employer. On-site laundry facilities available at a cost. Travel cost covered if worker needs to relocate.
Important Information: Position requires working weekends and holidays. Work schedule is 5 days per week. Shifts are a combination of 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. and 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Occasional overtime will be required.
