Maintenance Mechanic Job

Full-Time Permanent Position

12 hour Night Shift (no rotation)

Responsibilities:
• Inspect problems or concerns identified by previous shift
• Complete repairs
• Complete Preventative Maintenance routines and schedules
• Perform immediate repairs when required
• Replace damaged mechanisms with spares
• Take damaged mechanisms to maintenance shop for repairs
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair: compressors, pumps, bearings, drives, gears and gear boxes, team boiler, cranes, lift trucks, plumbing, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment, process piping, process reservoirs
• Completing repairs involving disassembling and reassembling, cutting, welding, brazing, soldering and grinding equipment
• Read and Interpret drawings and specifications

Qualifications
• High School Diploma and Certification of Qualification as a Millwright or Industrial Mechanic
• Knowledge of basic computer operations such as accessing data and data input.
• Problem-solving
• Mechanical technology
• Ability to perform accurate calculations using mathematical concepts
